HR Business Partner Permanent Post The following rewarding career opportunity in Human Resources exists for a proactive and dynamic individual. The HR Business Partner is responsible for the delivery of HR service excellence, in solution and support, to all relevant stakeholders to enable the achievement of SAMRC and HR strategic objectives. Key Responsibility Areas will include the following: • Drive the implementation of the HR strategy in the Divisions by ensuring that HR initiatives are fully aligned to business goals. • Strategically and operationally partner with the allocated business Units/Divisions. • Pro-actively analyze trends in respect of the HR value chain as well as client expectations in line with the goals of MRC for the purpose of improving the service offering as well as quality of service offering. • Provide a comprehensive employee life cycle and staff centered, pro-active and integrated HR generalist service. • Create, plan and implement HR solutions, including interventions and practices according to the needs of the Divisions. • Develop a workforce plan that is based on the identification and analyses of the environment and trends with regards to capacity planning for a Unit/Division/Directorate • Partner with Unit/Division/Directorate in developing customized talent sourcing strategies, depending on their capacity requirements. • Ensure organizational structures/organograms, job designs, job evaluation and grading are implemented according to and aligned with OD/REM Specialist directives in relation to Unit/Division/Directorate and SAMRC strategic delivery objectives. • Implement appropriate and organization aligned HR remuneration practices and advise to line management • Maintain HR Governance/ Risk compliance to agreements, procedures, processes, policies and legislation. • Manage Employment Wellness Risks • Provide expert advice, support and guidance to Line Manager in line with current Labour practices. • Timeously submitted accurate and reliable HR data, records and information to all relevant stakeholders Core Requirements: • 3 Year Qualification (National Diploma/ Degree in Human Resources or related field) • 6 – 8 years’ experience in Human Resources as a Generalist, including demonstrable experience with HR metrics and understanding of HR functions and best practices. • Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices • Thorough knowledge of labour legislation • Accuracy and attention to detail. Added Advantage • Honors or Postgraduate Diploma in related field. • 8 -10 years’ experience in Human Resources as a Generalist • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Managerial or Supervisory role • Registered with SABPP Terms&Conditions: The SAMRC retains the right not to make an appointment.
