RS Recruitment & Training is assisting a national IT COMPANY, to recruit an EXTERNAL ACCOUNT MANAGER, for their DURBAN office. Up to R20,000 basic plus commission, travel allowance, death benefit and 50% medical aid. OUR CLIENT HAS BEEN PROVIDING ON-SITE AND REMOTE SUPPORT SERVICES NATIONALLY FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS. Applicants should have/be the following:Three to five years of sales experience in the IT or technology fields (IT, software, VoIP, copier etc.).Customer-focused.Self-driven.A good record of achieving targetsTheir own vehicle with valid drivers license.Key performance areas:Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.Present, promote and sell IT networking services.Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.Analyse the territory/markets potential, track sales and status reports.Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services. Remuneration: Up to R20 000 basic salary plus commission, travel allowance and 50% medical aid contribution.
