RPO Recruitment's client, a well-established and reputable civil engineering consulting firm in South Africa, is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Water Engineer to join their dynamic team in Durban as soon as possible. Responsibilities Design, analyse, and manage water resource systems such as water supply, stormwater, wastewater, and irrigation systems. Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modelling Develop and evaluate design documents, including specifications, drawings, and calculations. Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects. Ensure that projects are finished on schedule and under budget by working together with project managers, other engineers, and clients. Review and approve engineering design documents, including specifications, drawings, and calculations. Prepare and present technical reports and presentations to clients and other stakeholders. Ensure that water resource systems are designed and installed per applicable codes, standards, and regulations. Provide technical guidance and support to other team members. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to water resources engineering. Requirements National Diploma/BTech/BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering 10-15 years’ experience in a similar capacity Proven experience in water resource engineering including hydraulic and hydraulic modelling Proficiency in HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS or SWMM Proficiency in Civil 3D and other related software packages Professional registration with ECSA advantageous BenefitsSalary: R540K – R720K CTC per annum, negotiableRPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
