Role summary:The Unit Manager will be responsible for enhancing the quality of nursing care by ensuring adherence to professional and ethical standards.The incumbent will oversee and ensure that nursing care and service delivery are executed within a multidisciplinary quality assurance team.Additionally, the incumbent will be accountable for coordinating capacity building, mentoring, and training initiatives.Qualification and experience:Registered Nurse with SANCNursing qualification including post-basic Operating Theatre diploma A minimum of 5 years of theatre nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role in an operating theatre setting.Computer proficientStrong leadership and interpersonal skills.Excellent communication and organizational abilities.Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.Commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement.
