This role is responsible for providing support from a legal perspective, and for preparing legal documents iro being a Client Facing Legal Advisor. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts over periods of up to 3 months. Key Result Area Legal Advice As a specialist, provides support from a legal perspective Drafts contracts and applications Advises&may also train others regarding legislation&industry changes. Assists in the preparation of any semi-legal or contractual documents used by the business unit/ segment. (Limited experience will result in the incumbent receiving technical support / input from the Senior Legal Advisor.) Researches the applicable legal principles&applies them to the facts. Personal Effectiveness Accepts and lives the company values. Accountable for service delivery through own efforts. Collaborates effectively with others to achieve personal results. Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality for periods of 1 day to a maximum of 3 months. Makes increased contributions by broadening individual skills. ROLE DESCRIPTION Specialist legal role providing support from a legal perspective. Drafts contracts, applications and quotes. Advises and trains others regarding legislation&industry changes. Research applicable legal principles&applies them to the facts. Provides legal advice. Assesses environment, picks up on trends&patterns&makes recommendations to the business. Provides high level legal support. Conducts technical training. Builds relationships with clients. Ensures exposure to developing self to attainment of CFP. Signs off marketing material. Networks with industries (ACI, LOA, IRF etc). Qualifications&Experience Required: 3 years practitioner's experience 2years Financial Industry experience Post Grad legal qualification&proof registration Admitted practicing attorney/advocate LLB + articles. Studying toward a Certificate in Financial Planning (CFP).
