Our client is seeking an experienced Margarine Plant Supervisor to oversee their margarine production facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the production process, ensuring product quality, and managing the plant staff. The Plan Supervisor must have prior experience in managing plant operations, working with Ammonia refrigeration plants, blending recipes, and supervising production staff. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the production process, ensuring that all production targets are met and that the production process runs smoothly. Manage staff, including scheduling, performance management, and training. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed. Follow production schedules, ensuring that production is aligned with Supply chain demands. Create and maintain production records and reports. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that production goals are met. Continuously monitor and improve production processes, striving for increased efficiency and effectiveness Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field At least 5 years of experience in managing a production plant. Experience with Ammonia refrigeration plant and blend recipes Excellent leadership and communication skills Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software Knowledge of mechanical and electrical fault-finding and repair techniques Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts and weekends. Preferred qualifications: Experience in the food production industry Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to food production.
