Overview Reference 2000483242 Salary ZAR/month Job Location - South Africa -- Kwazulu-Natal -- Durban Job Type Contract Posted 21 August 2024 Closing date 30 Aug 2024 22:59 The Accountant is responsible for the Treasury function, i.e. bank and cash balances and intra/intercompany loans in SA, related reconciliations, receipts, payments etc Key Responsibilities Daily cash management for South Africa Bank account reconciliations and investigations External loan accounting, including sweeps/utilisations, interest and fee accruals and payments Intra/intercompany loan accounting Monthly journals, reconciliations, and reporting for Treasury accounts (bank balances, external loans, intra/intercompany loans, related interest and fees) Liaison with internal customers, banks, lenders, and other external parties where required Maintenance of documentation (loan agreements, confirmations etc Qualifications&Experience Qualified accountant (CA (SA) / AGA (SA) / CGMA / equivalent) 1-3 years experience in Treasury or Accounting Microsoft Excel SAP would be preferable Willingness to learn in a dynamic environment Attention to detail Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements Closing date : Friday, 30 August 2024 Please note that only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
