Job Title: Dispatch / Receiving Clerk Number of positions: 2 Location: Mobeni Industry: Business Manufacturing&Supply Employment Type: 3 month Fixed term contract Salary: R10 000 pm Shifts: Rotational 12 hour shift- Night shift only Introduction The client is a prominent company based in Durban, South Africa. They specialize in the packing and distribution of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) throughout Africa. Responsibilities Receiving Shipments: Verify and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and condition. Unload trucks and ensure items are stored correctly. Dispatching Orders: Prepare and dispatch orders accurately and on time. Coordinate with delivery personnel and ensure proper documentation. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels. Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies. Documentation: Ensure all shipping and receiving documents are completed accurately and filed appropriately. Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage and report any issues. Ensure that all products meet quality standards before dispatch. Communication: Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments to resolve any issues related to shipments. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. Operate forklifts and other equipment safely. Qualifications Must have Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF level 4 equivalent qualification. Must have clear criminal record. 2 - 3 years' experience in dispatching and receiving of stock.
