The role will be based at the UPD Durban branch and will report to the Operations Manager. Job Purpose: Responsible for the effective and accurate management and control of inventory within the warehouse ensuring good Wholesale & Distribution Practice is applied. Job Objectives: Adherence to compliance, SOP's and company policies (SHEQ, QA)Productivity management - Capacity management, order processing cycle time, manning utilization, unplanned downtimeEquipment up-time and maintenance - Asset inspections and reports are performed as requiredReporting on daily performance and Order statusDaily/Weekly/Monthly management reportsAttainment of daily operational targetsOrder processing within required turnaround times. (Transfers and sales orders)Conduct and supervise cycle counting and bin check processReturn stock to vendor / claims generated by operationsInventory and Receiving departments for both Wholesale and DistributionManagement of quality and output levelsPerformance management of staff, staff training and disciplineSet targets and deadlines for direct reportsAssistance of stock counts within PDC Wholesale and DistributionControl and resolution of order disputes / claims internally and externallyManage staff compliment for overtime when required Experience and Education: Relevant Tertiary Qualifications (Advantageous)3 - 5 years experience in a Pharmaceutical/ Distribution & Wholesale/ FMCG/ Supply Chain & Logistic environment (Essential)2 Years experience in dealing with supplier returns, with keen understanding of supplier policies1-2 years supervisory/people management experience  Job related knowledge and skills: Computer skills on MS Office (Word and Excel Level 3)Product knowledgeFinancial understanding - budget.Communicate effectively at all levelsStrong planning and co-coordinating skillsAbility to work in a teamAbility to work under pressure / time deadlinesHonesty and integrityAbility to work on excel reports and drive efficienciesDo you require help with the registration process?#J-18808-Ljbffr
