A vacancy exists for a Stores Assistant within the Micro Merchant Division, in Durban . The purpose of this role is to assist the Storeman with day-to-day duties and perform tasks related to Stock Management assigned by the Store Manager or Storeman. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Receipt and dispatch of equipment. Packing of items that must be dispatched. Assist with monthly stocktakes. Ensuring that the overall stores area is neat and organized. Receipt of returned equipment from Agents and Reps. Random testing and evaluation of repaired devices. Feedback to Storeman and Stores Manager regarding Quality Control findings. In order to be considered for this position, the following requirements must be met: Matric/Grade 12. Tertiary qualification advantageous but not required. Ability to work with a team and independently. Be proactive and take initiative.
