The post is interchangeable within the Unit. Job Purpose HUMAN CAPITAL OFFICER / SENIOR HUMAN CAPITAL OFFICER To provide a Human Capital Business Partner function to Business Units. Key Responsibility Areas HUMAN CAPITAL OFFICER • Partner with assigned business units to deliver value-added human capital management services • Guide the recruitment and selection process in accordance with policy and procedures • Provides advice and guidance on workforce alignment to organizational strategy • Enable optimal employee well-being by providing a welfare and counselling service • Provide guidance on the resolution of problems or disputes between the employer and employee • Provide a Human Capital administration service including data management, storage, analysis and integrity • Promotes training/learning and development. • Ensure the alignment of individual performance with organizational performance • Undertakes special projects as determined by the business need SENIOR HUMAN CAPITAL OFFICER • Partner with assigned business units to deliver value-added human capital management services • Guide the recruitment and selection process in accordance with policy and procedures • Provides advice and guidance on workforce alignment to organizational strategy • Enable optimal employee well-being by providing a welfare and counselling service • Provide guidance on the resolution of problems or disputes between the employer and employee • Provide guidance on Human Capital administration service including data management, storage, analysis and integrity • Promotes training/learning and development. • Ensure the alignment of individual performance with organizational performance • Implements talent management strategy, systems and processes of the organization. • Responsible for special projects as determined by the business need • Represents and/or provide assistance to any of the higher Senior Human Capital positions in the Municipality. • Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Human Resources Management or any other related and equivalent qualification. • Valid motor vehicle driving license. • 2 Years relevant experience. • Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Human Resources Management or any other related and equivalent qualification. • Valid motor vehicle driving license. • 3 Years relevant experience. Preferred Requirements HUMAN CAPITAL OFFICER • Degree (NQF Level 7) in Human Resources Management or any other related and equivalent qualification. • 3 Years relevant experience. SENIOR HUMAN CAPITAL OFFICER • Degree (NQF Level 7) in Human Resources Management or any other related and equivalent qualification. • 4 Years relevant experience.
