About the job Commercial AccountantDuties and responsibilities:Assisting Divisional Executive with cost and sales analysis and reportPreparing forecasting estimates and variance analysisPreparation and analysis of various monthly Sales Reports and Sales EstimatesPreparation of Costings and Maintaining all costing data on the systemAnalysing data and costings for cost saving initiativesTo drive each change through to completion with the aid of the various departmentsUse knowledge and experience to challenge data where necessaryReview costings of all products and be able to determine pricing for all Sales related queriesPreparation and Analysis of quarterly pricing data basesMaintaining accurate gross margin records and reconciling to monthly income statements issued by the finance departmentMonth end schedules and reports on various costs, margins etcPreparation of and continuous improvements on key management statistics in the business (R/kg, throughput, number of wage heads)Preparation of annual budgets, ad hoc tenders and new product launch documentsHelping the Divisional Executive and Financial Exec with ad hoc assignmentsQualifications and experience:B Com/B Compt with accounting subjectsMinimum 2 years work experience in an accounting or production environmentManufacturing cost accounting will be advantageousSAP experience will be advantageousAdvanced Excel and Microsoft officeKey competencies:Confident and independent person who is a fast learnerAbility to use own initiative and work with minimum supervisionAble to work under pressure in order to meet strict deadlinesInquisitive and enjoys analytical type workExcellent attention to detailEnergetic and a peoples person#J-18808-Ljbffr
