Vacancy Group DEVELOPMENT PLANNING, ENVIRONMENT & MANAGEMENT Reporting To Manager (General Advertising Compliance & Contracts Management) Location - Town / City DURBAN Location - Province KwaZulu-Natal Location - Country South Africa Job Purpose To co-ordinate and assess advertising opportunities and signage applications in terms of relevant policies/ bylaws, and facilitate advertising contracts and agreements within Ethekweni Municipality.This post reports to MANAGER (GENERAL ADVERTISING COMPLIANCE & CONTRACTS MANAGEMENT) Key Responsibility Areas Assesses advertising opportunities and proposals on Council and private property.Facilitates advertising contracts and agreements.Assesses advertising applications in priority zones in terms of the bylaws.Liaises with developers, professionals, general public, and organs of government, and other departments on advertising matters.Investigates advertising objections and appeals.Maintains filing and database systems.Provides specialist input and support at special projects, programmes and meetings.Undertakes the mentoring and training of Signage Inspectors and Signage Assistants. Public consultation.Planning and organising.Programme and project management.Information products and reporting.Resilience.Interpersonal relationships.Problem solving.Accountability and ethical conduct.Coaching and mentoringDiploma (NQF Level 6) in Supply Chain Management or Project Management or any other related and equivalent qualification.Valid motor vehicle driving license.
