Job Duties: Perform fibre optic splicing in both outdoor and indoor settings Conduct quality checks on spliced fibres using OTDR equipment Troubleshoot and repair fibre optic cables as needed Coordinate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects Required Qualifications: Splicing Certificate Experience working with fibre optics in a telecommunications environment Education: A splicing certificate or equivalent qualification in fibre optics Experience: Prior experience working with fibre optics in a telecommunications setting Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in fibre optic splicing techniques Understanding of OTDR equipment and its applications Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in fibre optic technology Experience with splicing in a variety of environments Working Conditions: Work will primarily be conducted outdoors and in various weather conditions.
