With a portfolio of premium resorts and hotels across South Africa, we pride ourselves on delivering world-class service and hospitality.Job Summary:The Collections Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the collections department, ensuring efficient and effective collection of outstanding debts. This role involves supervising a team of collections agents, developing strategies to improve collection rates, and maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.Key Responsibilities:Supervise Collections Team: Lead, mentor, and support a team of collections agents to meet performance targets.Monitor Performance: Track and analyze team performance metrics, providing regular feedback and implementing improvement plans as needed.Develop Strategies: Create and implement strategies to enhance collection processes and improve recovery rates.Customer Interaction: Handle escalated customer interactions and disputes in a professional and timely manner.Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to debt collection.Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on collection activities, performance, and challenges to senior management.Training: Develop and conduct training programs for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff.Qualifications:Education: Diploma in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in collections, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using collections software and Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge: In-depth understanding of collection laws and regulations.
