Key responsibilities:Develop and implement an integrated logistics management system and strategy to support the business object.Ensure the provision of stockpile space at the Mines, Sidings and Port are strategically situated to provide a service to the clientsPerformance analysis of the overall budget/expenses for the logistics operation andDetermine the most cost-effective and efficient means of transport servicesEnsure the logistics processes are streamlinedNegotiate pricing for market rates and driving improvements, evaluate all viableNegotiate and conclude contracts for inbound and outbound logisticsEnsure efficient management, control, compliance and reporting of the function in Accordance with legislation, fraud prevention, risk management principles, companyStrategic supplier relationships and negotiationsMinimum requirements:Bachelor's degree in logistics management, business administration, or a related field7 to 10 years of experience in logistics management environment3 to 5 years experience as a Supervisor / ManagerExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience with inventory management and supply chain optimizationProficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software such as Nimbus
