R 500 000 - R 600 000 Our client based in Longmeadow is looking for an experienced Operations manager Key requirements Relevant qualification 4-5 years experience in a similar role Strong in communicating and adapting method based on circumstance Strong operational inbound logistics expertise to effectively manage and develop the distribution center inbound operations Deep understanding of end-to-end processes and garment flow Solid knowledge in regional and global operational logistics standards, as well as sustainability targets Holistic view to look at the bigger perspective with a visionary approach Ability to encourage collaboration, co-creation and people development by empowering others Agile mindset with a positive attitude to change and meaningful growth Key responsibilities Lead DC inbound and outbound departments to maximize operational excellence, quality, efficiency and productivity for inbound&outbound ops, VAS, returns and moves Manage and ensure an efficient planning and optimization of the flow of garment across all inbound&outbound departments from unloading to shipping Manage the overall profitability based on cost effectiveness through accurate planning&budget follow up and by using cost saving initiatives Lead the department teams to ensure logistic capacity needs Support inbound and outbound departments to resolve issues and ensure close alignment with controlling and Import/Export where relevant Lead and support the team leaders to recruit, develop and retain workforce for inbound and outbound according to capability need and forecasted capacity requirements #J-18808-Ljbffr
