In this role, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing new and existing customer relationships by selling the company's products and meeting customer needs. The goal is to serve customers excellently, drive sales, and expand the market presence. The successful candidate will plan and organise their daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors, ensuring the growth of the customer base and satisfaction of clients.Requirements:Degree in Marketing, Promotions, Advertising Sales, or Business Administration (Preferred);Three to five years of industry sales experience, preferably in FMCG;Valid C1 driver's license with PDP;Experience dealing with chain retail stores;Ability to speak at least one African language;Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills;Proven ability to meet sales goals and manage customer relationships effectively;Proficiency in analysing consumer behavior and sales data;Entrepreneurial mindset with a performance-driven approach;Core Competencies:Customer care and post-sales service;Leadership and pricing strategy knowledge;Product category management;Effective communication through various platforms, including WhatsApp;Sales analysis and consumer behavior understanding;Product development and societal marketing;Familiarity with social media and digital marketing;Problem-solving and effective planning skills;Motivation for sales and a strong drive to achieve targets;Role & Responsibilities:Set sales targets based on store potential and location;Serve customers by selling products and exceeding customer needs;Build and maintain strong customer relationships;Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts;Plan and organise daily work schedules to call on sales outlets and trade factors;Coordinate sales promotions and drive sales of new products;Evaluate and identify prospective customers and convert them into clients;Adjust sales presentations according to the type of sales outlet or trade factor;Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers;Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature;Analyse sales and develop sales action plans;Project manage events and promotions;Monitor competition and gather marketplace information;Recommend changes in products, services, and policies based on evaluation of results;Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions;Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing publications;Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales;Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed;Maintain and log the company vehicle daily;#J-18808-Ljbffr
