Operations&Logistics Manager - Johannesburg Central, Gauteng Our client has an exciting opening for an Operations&Logistics Manager to join their dynamic team and play a key role in their organization. Main Responsibilities Fleet management of operational fleet consisting of forklifts and other handling equipment, including general maintenance. Provide operational support to the traders/sections on the market floor and other operational departments. Facility management, including general housekeeping, cold storage temperature monitoring and fault reporting, and food safety programs. Manage ad-hoc related projects as delegated by Managing Director. Perform administrative duties, not limited to, procurement, monthly reporting, approval of job cards etc. Contingency management including employee development and succession planning. Enforcement of health and safety regulations. Minimum Requirements/Qualifications/Competencies Grade 12 / Matric essential. 5 to 8 years’ experience in facilities and/or operations and fleet management. Facilities, Logistics or Operations Management qualification would be an added advantage. Counterbalance Forklift Operator License would be an added advantage. Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment required. Team orientated individual. Excellent organizational and planning skills required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Ability to work under pressure. Oral and written communication skills (in English) required. Fluency in isiZulu would be an added advantage.
