We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Desktop Publishing (DTP) Operator to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, proficiency in graphic design software, and a keen eye for detail. The DTP Operator will be responsible for creating and editing visual materials for print and digital marketing campaigns, including advertisements, signage, packaging, and promotional materials. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and layout marketing materials such as flyers, posters, banners, brochures, and catalogs in line with brand guidelines. 2. Edit and manipulate images, graphics, and text to create visually appealing materials. 3. Work closely with the marketing team to understand design requirements and deliver high- quality designs within specified deadlines. 4. Ensure that all materials are error-free, proofread, and adhere to brand standards. 5. Maintain an organized archive of design files and assets for easy retrieval and reuse. 6. Collaborate with printers and external vendors to ensure accurate and timely production of printed materials. 7. Stay up-to-date on design trends, software updates, and industry best practices to continuously improve design skills. Qualifications: 1. Proven experience as a DTP Operator or Graphic Designer, preferably in a retail setting. 2. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator) and other graphic design software. 3. Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and design principles. 4. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure. 5. Strong communication and teamwork skills. 6. A portfolio showcasing previous design work. 7. High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred.
