Financial Clerk - Blackheath, Cape Town Our Client in Blackheath is looking for a Financial Clerk with 2-3 years of experience. You need to know Pastel and Payroll as this role includes both. Salary: Negotiable based on experience Minimum Requirements Matric and a Relevant Financial Accounting Bookkeeping Diploma (added advantage) 3-5 years’ experience in Bookkeeping and VIP Payroll Experience working on VIP Payroll, Excel, and PASTEL Payroll Experience Job Requirements Financial Services - Up to Trial Balance PASTEL Prepare all invoices for payment weekly Correctly file all financial documents according to statements Capture all financial information to Pastel Perform all duties required to complete/update Pastel Bookkeeping Finalize all duties on Pastel to ensure auditors can perform year-end (Complete up to trial balance stage) Debt collection - Perform all relevant duties related to Pastel bookkeeping Payroll Administration Function - VIP Payroll Collect employees’ daily shift records Capture shift records to payroll system (Spreadsheet&VIP Payroll) Capture employee sick leave&leave - record keeping Capture employee deductions daily (Spreadsheet&VIP Payroll) Petty Cash Collect and capture documentation (daily slips) - excel spreadsheets Check and finalize spreadsheet monthly and file documentation monthly in date order Present spreadsheet for review monthly Capture petty cash on Pastel and ensure safekeeping of petty cash Issue petty cash in the correct format, manage&balance petty cash Vehicle Administration Collect fuel slips daily and capture fuel slips on PASTEL&excel fuel consumption Prepare weekly reports and payment schedules for fuel account (spreadsheet) Please apply online through FROGG Recruitment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
