Your expertise will guide the implementation of SWIFT and SAMOS RTGS solutions, ensuring the highest standards of quality and innovation. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior developers, managing projects, and contributing to a collaborative and productive team environment.Responsibilities:Technical Expertise: Lead the design and implementation of software solutions with a focus on high-value payments. Enhance the quality of software design through your knowledge of best practices.Solution Architecture: Design and review architectural solutions. Mentor junior developers and contribute to the development of architectural skills within the team.High-Value Payments: Guide projects related to high-value payment systems, leveraging your SME knowledge of SWIFT and SAMOS RTGS.Liquidity Management: Provide expertise in managing liquidity within banking environments, particularly for high-value payments.Software Delivery: Collaborate with project management, product teams, and professional services to ensure projects are well-defined, scoped, and delivered on time. Prioritise projects as a payments SME.Team Leadership: Set technical goals, milestones, and objectives. Support and empower team members to grow and succeed. Foster a shared sense of purpose and commitment within the team.Organisational Savvy: Align with Electrum's vision and strategy, playing a key technical role in achieving organisational goals.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in software solution design.2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the payments industry.2+ years of experience in a Payments SME role.Proven experience in designing and implementing successful payment processing systems for SWIFT and/or SAMOS RTGS.Beneficial Experience:Experience with SWIFT Alliance and SWIFT implementations using ISO20022.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience with cloud environments.Background in delivering enterprise software.Benefits:We have created a high-performance culture where you can expect:Career growth - Delivering world-class financial services software products in a fast-paced company is not easy, and it takes an insane amount of effort.
