A recent professional profile photo is to accompany your application EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Permanent SECTOR : Finance / Accounts BASIC SALARY : Market Related START DATE : A.S.A.P / Immediate REQUIREMENTS: Relevant work experience in creditors' clerk role advantageous Proficiency in financial software such as Syspro preferred Fluent in English and Afrikaans Excellent communication, administrative, and numerical skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and clients Analytical skills to identify areas for improvement in financial processes Commitment to ethical and legal practices in international trade and finance Deadline-driven with excellent time management skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team DUTIES: To manage creditors' accounts efficiently, including reconciling statements, processing invoices, and payment requisitions Ensure accurate matching of GRNs to supplier invoices, posting expenses to correct GL accounts, and reviewing 3-way matching for accuracy Control and reconcile petty cash for Head Office and branch locations Review and process payment requisitions and expense claims received from branches Reconcile creditors accounts on Syspro to statements, purchase orders, invoices, and GRNs Prepare payment requests, compile relevant reports for submission, and address supplier queries promptly Liaise with suppliers regarding account issues and manage requests for limit increases Daily communication with Supply Chain Management and Financial Accounting and Asset Management teams regarding account-related matters HOURS: Monday to Fridays 7:30 - 16:30 Should you meet all the requirements, apply on our website at www.statusstaffing.com today.
