A vacancy exists within the Technology Department for a Technical Pivot based at our office in Centurion.Responsibilities may include the following tasks but not limited to:Installing and Testing enhancements and new softwareAssist with Change and Release management activitiesResearch of new technologies to improve or supplement existing software and hardware requirementsTesting & Sign-Off of hardware to comply with product specifications and quality assurance expectationsProvide documentation of Configuration, Technical and Functional SpecificationsManage and/or Execute pilot activitiesAssist with User Acceptance activities by conferring with usersRepresentation at Technical ForumsAssist with Business Analysis activities, i.e. Customer needs and requirements, formalized Blue Printing etc.Pro-actively troubleshoot, identify and provide Root Cause Analysis of escalationsProvide resolution, workaround or escalate to DevelopmentInvestigate problems either remotely, onsite or in Lab environmentProvide technical assistance and supportRepresentation in Technical ForumsMinimum RequirementsGrade 12 QualificationA+ and N+ (CompTIA) Certification or NQF 5 equivalentAt Least 3 – 5 years IT industry experienceDriver’s LicensePassportCompetencies:Must have strong analytical skillsMust be well-spokenMust be able to research to gain further knowledgeShould be able to work under limited supervisionStrong written and Oral communicationAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAdvantageous SkillsSQL KnowledgeScripting to automate deployments/auditsSalary: Depends on ExperienceJob Type: Full-timePay: R15000,00 - R17000,00 per month#J-18808-Ljbffr
