Incomar is looking for motivated individuals to work within the Certification Engineering department on Aircraft and/or Avionics related projects. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering; or a relevant tertiary qualification. Any additional qualification in aviation/defence certification would be beneficial. Required Skills and Experience: 2 years working experience in the field of Certification Engineering. Proven expertise as an engineer in your field. Product development and system engineering skills involving all aspects of the "V" life cycle and the system engineering management process. Proficient in requirements management (experience with Cradle/Jama/Doors preferable, but not mandatory). Airworthiness and Certification Engineering. System safety process. Basic configuration and product lifecycle management skills. Knowledge of applicable standards related to your field (e.g. MIL-STDs&RTCA SACAR’s, SACATS’&FAR standards). Knowledge and experience in Functional Hazard Assessment, System Safety Analysis etc Technical writing skills. Proficient in MS Office. Preferred Skills and Experience: Military/ Defence aviation experience. Civil Aviation Industry experience. Quality Driven. Output Driven. Safety conscious. Strong organizational and communication skills (oral&written). Innovative. Problem-solving aptitude. Attention to detail. Team player. Able to work under pressure. Good verbal and written communication skills. Responsibilities: Performing allocated engineering tasks and certification work, within your expertise and skillset. Perform safety tasks (FTA, FMECA, PSSA&SSA). Writing and maintaining certification planning documents. Writing and maintaining safety documentation. Writing and maintaining compliance documentation. Perform, execute and document certification and safety activities. Requirement and traceability management. Ensuring that airworthiness requirements and applicable standards are met. Ensuring that continuous airworthiness requirements are facilitated. Liaising with airworthiness and certification authorities. Liaising with clients and stakeholders.
