Responsibilities: Mechanical engineering design may include, but is not limited to: Prepare plant layouts Conveyor design Chute design Selecting suitable materials handling equipment Design of structures and mechanical equipment in the mining industry Hydraulic/Pneumatic design will be an advantage Transform concepts into working designs Oversee site installations Commissioning of new installations Attend site meetings to understand system requirements Manage and co-ordinate contract draughtsmen and engineering consultants Make sure quality and safety standards are adhered to and integrated into the design Requirements: BEng/BSc Degree in Mechanical engineering 7 years’ experience in materials handling&mechanical design in an engineering projects environment Experience laying out processing plants Experience in structural and mechanical design Experience in design with CAD software (3 years) (SolidWorks) Full Time Company Social #J-18808-Ljbffr
