You will have opportunities to earn, learn and gain invaluable skills and knowledge, while increasing your future employability as you join the world of work.Job PurposeWorking within a team, your key accountabilities will be to;Learn how to operate welding and fabrication equipment under supervision.Support with fabrication and welding of metal components under supervision.Perform cutting and heating tasks by use of oxygen and acetylene under supervision.Understand and follow manufacturing drawings.Complete manufacturing work packs and timesheets.Assist with performing preventative maintenance tasks to fleet / non-fleet equipment when required.Support with general workshop labour duties under supervisionWhat will I learn?You will study for an Engineering Modern Apprenticeship at SCQF Level 7.
