As a Financial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of financial operations, from day-to-day transaction processing to strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial principles and practices, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities : Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management on financial performance. Assist in the development of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts. Execute on the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Incorporating our accounting agency's reports into our UK management accounts Liaising with the Accountancy agency to ensure smooth financial management Monitor cash flow projections and manage cash balances to optimize liquidity. Identify opportunities to improve cash flow efficiency and minimize financial risk. Streamline and optimize financial processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and drive operational excellence. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements. Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors as needed to support financial audits and filings. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CIMA or ACCA preferred. Proven experience in financial management, accounting, or related roles, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights. Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis, with advanced Excel skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and integrity. Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency of Xero of Quickbooks preferred This is a remote permanent part-time position (half-day) Monday-Friday. Location: South Africa based, remote work. Starting date: As soon as possible.
