Job Description:A leading organisation is looking for a Demand Planner to join their team. The main purpose of the role is to work in conjunction with the planning, logistics, and sales teams to guarantee order fulfillment in line with customer requirements. They will own the material planning process as well as the execution thereof on behalf of the production team. The role reports into the Planning Manager of the company.Responsibilities:3 year B Degree / 4 year Diploma supply chain management, logistics or similar is essentialCIPS/CPIM would be advantageous.A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Demand planning, S&OP management, and Supply planning capacity.Shipping and materials planning is essential.MS Office competency: highly competent in Excel.A working experience with planning/demand/forecasting tools.SAP or similar ERP experience is essential.Requirements:Actively engage in the end-to-end Sales and Operational Planning Process, with a focus on demand & supply planning. Support the Material Planning process as well as the execution of the material plan and finished goods volumes for the production team. Ordering stock from suppliers and principals to fulfill customer demand and maintaining service levels. Ability to provide stock analysis to drive profitability and maintain optimal stock levels. Resolving issues where stock does not arrive on time in full. Ensure that the monthly production schedule is aligned to forecasts to ensure delivery in line with sales requirements. Work in conjunction with Planning, Logistics, and Sales to guarantee order fulfillment in line with customer requirements. Maintaining all documents relating to supply chain processes in accordance with shipping and quality requirements. Communicating informed risks within the business to key stakeholders. Managing the forecasts and coordination of raw materials and production for various third-party/contract bottlers.
