PR Travel and Tourism Events Host – Cape Town.Do you have experience being the “front face” and “go to” host at events? Our client requires your incredible communication, presence, presentation skills and ability to be self-managed with a stable track record of delivering a high standard of events.Involvement in Travel and Tourism is preferable as this role involves commitment to be available for after hour and weekend events.Planning, budget management and operational experience required.Minimum Requirements:Matric, with relevant qualifications advantageousExperience within Travel and Tourism preferableOwn vehicle essentialBilingual in English and AfrikaansExperience in event operations managementProficiency in all Microsoft Office applicationsAn interest in tourism and travelExperience as a front face and communicator at various eventsExcellent financial and commercial acumenAbility to multi-task between various projects and eventsExcellent communication and inter-personal skills, being confident in liaising with all clients across all sectorsA committed individual who is willing to develop in this important roleCommitment to be available for events over weekends or after hoursDuties and Responsibilities:Reporting to the Managing DirectorCreative and innovative thinking alongside the operations team with various ideas for different types of eventsPlanning, especially attention to detail on the finder details on the day of an eventBudget presentation and ensuring accuracy and all costing has been included per projectAdapting to budgets without compromising event style or operational deliveryOn-site engagement with attendees at eventsOn-site managing of additional staff required at eventsEnsuring client’s needs are met during planning process up to and including the eventBeing the brand ambassador for the companyDeveloping strong positive relationships with clients and suppliersInspection of sites where events will be hosted, problem solving where neededTeam player working with and alongside the operational teamPost-event reporting and ideas for improvement to be submitted#J-18808-Ljbffr
