What will you do? Sanlam Private Wealth (SPW) crafts customised investment portfolios for high-net-worth private clients, charitable institutions, trusts and corporate entities. What will make you successful in this role? Compile and deliver quality, detailed and comprehensive business requirement specification documents/user stories, including process mapping and design. Closely work with Business teams/Product Owners, development team, vendors and testers to ensure requirements are delivered in an expected format. Provide inputs into training manuals and assist with the transfer of knowledge to end users, trainers, and colleagues. Work with key service providers to ensure business requirements, business rules and controls are documented and signed off. Translate business requirements into effective solutions. Provide input into test plans, review test designs and assist with the coordination of testing efforts. Qualifications Degree or diploma and/or certification Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a business analyst role or similar role Experience in financial services: asset management, international markets, stock broking Knowledge and Skills Business and IT Data Analysis Business Requirements Definition Functional Requirements Definition Quality assurance and testing Impact analysis IT governance and compliance Good understanding of the software development lifecycle, both waterfall and agile Ability to extract data for analysis Experience working within a fast-paced and dynamic business environment (advantageous) Ability to transfer knowledge to users, trainers and peers Ability to package and present analysis with recommendations to management and executive teams Strong facilitation skills for meetings, workshops and forums Build a successful career with us We’re all about building strong, lasting relationships with our employees.
