Maintenance Technician (Millwright) – ATLANTIS, Western Cape R25000 – R35 000 Per Month (including Company Benefits) depending on Qualification and Years of relevant experience Reputable Global Automotive Manufacturing concern is offering this lucrative career opportunity within their growing and seasoned team of professionals. One would describe you as a hands-on, focused and self-motivated individual who has excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills with the ability to work well within a team as well as independently. RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain production support for the assembly lines. Provide technical operational training on all equipment. Ensure a high-quality standard for repairs and maintenance, are maintained in all areas of the plant. Carry out preventative maintenance, attend to breakdowns, and ensure that all times, spares and associated costs are recorded accurately. Detailed recording and reporting of all work undertaken, hours spent, and spares used. Specialized fault finding and second tier specialized maintenance of production machines. Learn, understand and improve the overall PLC fault-finding and programming ability. Comply with all required data recording procedures within the SAP maintenance record system. Perform necessary Audits and verify after every breakdown. Learn, understand and improve the overall PLC fault-finding and programming ability. Prepare or check critical spares or equipment. Should be available for standby and callouts as stipulated in the documented Company Policy. REQUIREMENTS: Qualified Millwright Trade tested or National Diploma in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering 3 Years’ experience as a qualified Maintenance Technician within the automotive parts / components / industrial or manufacturing / engineering industry Formal training in CAD (AutoCAD, Solidworks, other) Basic Siemens PLC knowledge is essential! Knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Electrical systems Proficiency in MS office i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Notes Problem/fault finding skills in electro-mechanical systems Read and understand electrical schematics Hand Tools Proficiency Pneumatic skills – FESTO and SMC Oral&Written Skills for Management Feedback and Reporting Able to work extended work hours when required Own reliable transport and valid driver’s license #J-18808-Ljbffr
