Key Responsibilities:Utilize a variety of electrical hand tools, including drills, grinders, and tap machines, as well as standard spanners and hand tools.Proficiently use measuring equipment such as verniers, angle protractors, squares, spirit levels, and tape measures.Assemble mechanical components including gearboxes, pulleys, sprockets, chains, conveyors, rollers, and bearings.Expertly handle different types of sheet metal (mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium) and structural materials (angle iron, tubing, flat bar, channels).Work with a wide range of fasteners, bolts, nuts, screws, rivets, and perform tapping and die nut cutting of threads.Maintain good physical health to safely climb ladders, stairs, pedestals, and work at heights.Prioritize safety in all tasks and take advantage of any previous safety training.Requirements:Minimum of 5 years experience in a factory environment.Proven experience as a Machine Builder / Assembler.Ability to work effectively within a team.Strong knowledge of electrical hand tools and measuring equipment.Familiarity with various metals and fasteners.Physically fit and safety conscious.Own transport and flexibility to work overtime when necessary.Qualifications:N4 Mechanical or equivalent.Qualified Fitter / Millwright Artisan.Safety training (NOSA certification is an advantage).Forklift certification.Welding certification (MIG/TIG).
