Job DescriptionAn Enterprise Agile Coach is responsible for supporting organizations to adopt Enterprise Agility to improve their efficiency and productivity. This role involves working with enterprise, senior leadership, and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and to guide the enterprise through the Agile transformation process.As an Enterprise Agile Coach, you are part of building and embedding agile practices and tools for the organization.•Agile Transformation:Responsible for guiding and being a thought leader in supporting the organization through the Agile transformation process, including identifying areas for improvement, developing a roadmap, and instilling an Agile way of working. Guide leaders, agile coaches and scrum masters in embedding agile ways of work. Measure and track maturity of agile teams and the organization.•Organisational structure and culture:As an Enterprise agile coach you understand the organisations structure and culture and identifies the areas for change to align to a future of enterprise agility and support the transformation.•Agile Training and Coaching:Responsible for training and coaching on Agile, including frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, scaling, and Lean. Working with enterprise and portfolio leaders and teams to be more agile through coaching, facilitation, mentoring and teaching.•Stakeholder Management:You will work closely with senior leadership and stakeholders to gain buy-in for Agile adoption and to ensure that the Agile transformation aligns with the organization's strategic goals and drive business results by leveraging agile ways of working•Continuous Improvement:Agitating for change - You will continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Agile practices & tools within the organization and identify areas for improvement. You will also develop metrics to measure the success of the Agile transformation and communicate these metrics to stakeholders. Responsible for growing the agile capabilities of Agile Coaches, RTEs, Scrum Masters and Product Owners.•Support in building agile practices and ways of working, and ensuring this is threaded into management and people processes•Agile Tooling:You will be responsible for selecting and implementing Agile tools to support the Agile transformation process and to improve team collaboration and communication.•Agile Practice Build:Supports the building of agile standards, practices and methodologies.Minimum Requirements:•Bachelor's Degree (Masters Degree advantageous) in a related field such as Computer Science, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology or Management Information Systems•Proven experience in working on or being part of large-scale organizational transformation is advantageous•Relevant work experience: Must have 3-5 years of Agile Coaching experience across multiple teams, programs, companies, and industries.•Must have at least 3 years of dedicated Agile role experience, i.e., SM, PO, RTE.Foundational Agile Certifications Required:Scrum Alliance Certified Master (CSM) or Scrum.org Professional Scrum Master (PSM I)Advancing Agile Certification Required: * Scrum Alliance Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM) or Scrum.org Professional Scrum Master 2 (PSM ll) or Scaled Agile SAFe Practice Consultants (SPC)•Role Specific Certifications Required: * ICAgileAgile Facilitator (ICP-ATF) or equivalent. * ICAgileAgile Coach (ICP-ACC) or equivalent.Strong understanding of Scrum,KanBan, and scaling frameworks, i.e SAFe, LeSS, Nexus, etc.•Demonstratable experience as a Scrum Master across multiple teams and companiesADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE (PREFERRED, NOT A REQUIREMENT)AdditionalStrong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and scaling frameworks.Demonstratable experience as a Scrum Master/ across multiple teams and companies. Experience across multiple industries desired. Knowledge of agile software development and technical practices desired.Proven experience working with non-software teams required. Role specific certifications advantageous: Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Product Owner; Scaled Agile Product Owner /Business Owner (POPM)SkillsAgile Methodology, Agile Tools, Enterprise Agile, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), StrategicEducationBachelors Degree (B) (Required)Closing Date20 May 2024The appointment will be made from the designated group in line with the Employment Equity Plan of Old Mutual South Africa and the specific business unit in question.
