Junior Financial Controller Incubeta seeks to appoint a Junior Financial Controller as part of its newly established Record to Report (R2R) department. The role will take responsibility for month-end reporting, post month end reconciliations and analysis, payroll reporting and supporting statutory requirements. About Incubeta Incubeta is a global digital marketing company operating in approx. 20 countries with over 600 employees worldwide. They are embarking on their strategy of growth, both organically and via acquisition. Core finance processes are structurally centralised to ensure streamlined and consistent support for our operations - with team members working across several geographical locations. Key Responsibilities Month End / Year End Ensuring that all month-end deadlines are met; Reconciling Work in Progress accounts and producing GP numbers for monthly reporting; Reconcile intercompany recharge accounts and ensuring recharge invoices are raised on a timely basis; Preparing journal entries such as accruals, prepayments and depreciation; Initial investigation into budget vs actual variances; Preparing analysis and supporting the preparation of commentaries in Planful; Updating the monthly headcount stats in line with payroll figures; Ensure month end balance sheet reconciliations are completed in a timely manner; Support year-end close process; Support other team members and ad hoc reporting as necessary; Reviewing AP bill imports throughout the month to ensure accuracy before AP load into Acumatica; Financial Process and Control Maintaining general ledger accounts by reconciling control accounts and correcting mispostings; Adhering to financial controls and processes to prevent adverse audit findings; Working with external payroll providers and internal HR to ensure accurate payroll processing; Ensuring group finance controls are implemented and maintained in local processes; Having a continuous improvement mindset, searching for efficiencies in the way data is captured and processed; Working closely with with O2C/P2P streams to ensure queries and issues are resolved in a timely manner; Budgets&Forecasts Preparing analysis to support the budget and forecast processes; Ensuring group assumptions are incorporated into budget proposals; Ensuring all recharges/cross-charges are accounted for in the budget process; Statutory Requirements Produces the necessary monthly/quarterly statutory returns; Assist with preparation of audit sampling package for external audits; Supporting the audit teams with queries; Attending technical training as and when required; Skills required Relevant degree/diploma preferred; Computer literacy including experience of accounting software packages; Good knowledge of accounting procedures and principles; Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process; Proficient with email and spreadsheets with medium skillset; Personal attributes Good communication skills and the ability to translate financial information into easily understandable narrative; Accuracy and attention to detail; Initiative with the drive for continuous improvement; Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills; Confidentiality; Good team interaction; Deadline-oriented with the ability to plan, prioritise and manage work, demonstrating a sense of urgency when appropriate; Ability to act and operate independently; Ability to work cross functionally.
