Compliance Officer PositionA highly regarded, well-established Trust and Investment Management company based in Cape Town has created a Compliance Officer position to implement compliance and risk policies and procedures within the organisation.Duties & ResponsibilitiesCompliance reporting (internal and external)Review planned legislative changes, recommending changes to company risk control and operational proceduresDocumentation of relevant processes and proceduresDevelopment of training plan for relevant processes and proceduresReview systems and recommend appropriate changesFSP licence changes as neededReview client advisory and investment implementation records (FIAS and FICA)Review and approval of client onboardingAssist advisory, fiduciary and consulting operations with technical queriesProvide backup support for colleagues as requiredDesired Experience & QualificationRelevant tertiary qualification is a necessity.Completed accounting or auditing articlesComputer literacy - advanced ExcelPrevious experience in a similar functionTrack record of working accurately in a deadline-driven environmentPackage & RemunerationCost to company of R30 000 p.m. negotiable dependent on experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
