Searches for joint ventures and co-marketing opportunities. Negotiates with relevant authorities and organisations to ensure the company's products and services are recommended. Investigates existing marketing and business practices and recommends opportunities for improvement within the company. May also be responsible for the identification and initiation of development projects. Assists in achieving the development needs through investigations, viability studies and liaison with local authorities. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSMinimum qualification: 4 Year DegreeExperience in a similar role: At least 8 yearsDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Ensure that the business delivers on the set strategyFormulate the business growth strategyProvide strategic direction and input into the next 3-5 yearsProvide strategic direction in relation to the attainment of growth within existing and new markets and or customers and ensure that the business delivers on this strategyProvide strategic direction in relation to markets, customers, competitors, regions, countries that we should be inMonitor and evaluate progress on all projectsProvide direction to teams and clients to achieve resultsEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with the required designDevelop new and existing client relationships and ensure either new business or sell on workProvide support in and/or lead contract renewalsProvide innovative supply chain solutions to clients that result in annuity-based revenue for the companyMonitor and evaluate sales pipeline and ensure all timelines are met in securing the deal.Identify and develop new client relationships or potential acquisitionsEnsure a healthy sales pipeline taking sales cycles into account and the future growth required by the company divisionsThe development of strategic customer relationships and ensuring alignment with our customer's objectivesConstant competitor and market monitoring in terms of shifts at our customers, competitors, and the supply chain industry both locally and abroadDeliver solutions in all aspects of supply chain management from developing a design, implementing the design, and also managing the designIdentify, chase down and monitor the clients that we wantReport on all sales and marketing activities to EXCOBalance productivity with billing, revenue and EBIT and ensure that costed and budgetary financial targets are achieved and trackedEnsure that work delivered is of the highest qualityPrioritization of activities and projects when requiredDeliver the CSD budget in terms of cost and valueProvide input into Divisional Budget Process aligned to costed expectations of contracts in operationDesign and implement or tweak new business processes during the year and ensure strict adherence to theseInput and finalization of the business plan and annual budgets with Divisional ExecutiveInput into the monthly management report packs and sales and marketing reportsEnsure a robust staff attraction, retention, and reward strategyBuild and continue building a team culture that ensures absolute alignment to the greater goals of the businessEnsure constructive performance management processes that is aimed at growing peopleEnsure that adequate training and development of staff is drivenDrive the company brand into the market and maintain presenceEnsure that corporate brand identity is protectedEffective PR and communications into the marketDrive all internal and external marketing campaignsONLY short-listed candidates will be contacted#J-18808-Ljbffr
