The Junior Research and Investment Analyst will be responsible for fund research and general investment research, client service and investment support, sales support, investment reporting and publications, presentations within the business and general administration.Key outcomesThorough manager research, understand and explain collective investment schemes (including ETF’s, Retail Hedge Funds and offshore funds) performance, positioning and mandatesInvestment publications and reportingGeneral investment research: Analyse, interpret and disseminate market and economic information. Initiate research on current investment-related topicsClient service (telephonic, email and face-to-face)Related administration responsibilitiesProvide general investment support to Company's investment and consulting divisionsPresent investment-related information to internal business unitsWrite articles on research/ industry/ investment topics in EnglishAssist with the maintenance of proprietary research and investment toolsQualifications and experienceRelevant Honours Commerce qualificationFA Level 1 or equivalent, with higher level qualification beneficialRelevant experience in a retail financial environment would be an advantageComputer skills: MS EXCEL; MS WORD, MorningstarKnowledge of economic principles and retail financial environmentBe willing to travel nationally if required
