Head of Faculty: Humanities (JB4188)Century CityMarket RelatedThe Head of faculty is responsible for full programme management for the portfolio of programmes in the faculty. This means accountability for programme development and curriculum reviews, assessment alignment and development, module material updates and prescribed textbook lists. The HOF is expected to ensure academic integrity and regulatory compliance of programmes and assessments offered by the respective sites. Assure that all programmes, programme factsheets and programme curriculum structures and assessments are aligned in accordance with regulatory requirements as well as ensure accreditation compliance. Managing assessments that focus on operational efficiencies and efficacies to ensure end to end process runs without delays and in compliance with regulatory body standards. The HOF is responsible and accountable for the entire student journey from point of registration to certification.Requirements:Minimum of an Honours or master’s degree in the cognate Faculty field3-5 Years’ Experience in education of which 3 years must be in a programme management role.A minimum of 5 years work experience in a TVET environmentPreference goes to those with experience in distance learning.High level of competency in MS Offices, particularly Word, ExcelAdvantageous: Familiar with formal assessment & moderation practices, design & development, & programme structuringKey responsibilities:Programme management, development and review.Work integrated learning/workplace (WIL) based learning for each programme.Policies and procedures and accreditationTeaching and learningAcademic staff capacityManaging staff performance and deliveryAssessment managementManaging adherence to assessment processes, timelines and deadlinesManaging adherence to quality standards, policy, and legislation requirements regarding the preparation for examinations and examination question papersManaging adherence to assessment integrity and ensuring that the implement assessment process, question papers, assignments, POE’s, project memos comply with policy, procedural and legislation requirements.Managing post analysis of and assessment processesFinancial Management -claims etcAd hoc duties#J-18808-Ljbffr
