To communicate and guide all writers to execute briefs in Superbalist’s style. To lead, manage and motivate a team of writers as well as collaborate with all major stakeholders in order to drive the organisation's strategy.Key responsibilities / accountabilities:Technical / Performance CopyDevelop, maintain and clearly articulate the copy brand guidelines for all platforms (mobile, desktop, video, emails, social, ads, magazine, blog, ATL, BTL etc.This includes all verticals, CRM, Marketing/Brand as well as Creative Studio.Use performance metrics to investigate copy elements’ success and use findings to improve copy solutions & guidelines.Team Management & Quality ControlAssume ultimate responsibility for final quality and accuracy of the end product of all copy team members.Inspire the team to continually raise the bar on innovation, creativity, and imagination for all work produced.Develop the copy team’s personal skills through mentoring, setting goals and teaching.Ensure that work is divided equally and fairly.Digital ContentPartner effectively with agency and internal teams to ensure copy solutions accurately communicate qualities consistent with the Superbalist brand image.Lead team of copywriters/writers to create boundary-pushing content and campaigns for the digital space.Stay up-to-date on the latest digital trends and talent.Ensure campaigns are customised for our content publishing platforms.Work closely with the Head of Brand, CRM and Creative ~Studio and Digital design to oversee the rollout of all briefs.Qualifications and experience:A tertiary degree4+ years work experience as a copywriter/writerExperience at a fashion publication or online store is a plusVersatility and an enjoyment of varied copy typesCommitted, reliable and able to meet tight deadlinesThe ability to think and act independently in a fast-paced environmentPenchant and talent for storytelling and a passion for youth culture and styleAbility to understand what works and doesn't, and to quickly adapt accordinglyThe ability to work with a large team and multi-taskAn ability to track trends in the market at large and in Superbalist shopper behaviourSkills, knowledge and abilities:Versatility and an enjoyment of varied copy types.Committed, reliable and able to meet tight deadlines.An interest in understanding performance, measurement and optimisation of content.The ability to think and act independently in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detailStrong co-coordinating skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.Willingness to learn, and get involved.Self-motivated individual and self-directedSuperbalist is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
