Duties&Responsibilities R oles and Responsibilities: Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor assigned engineering projects. Assist Project Manager to compile URS in line with project scope. Ensure assigned projects are delivered OTIF in line with project scope and by completing all phases of project process. Execute technical responsibilities in line with project plan including Design, Research and Development, Data Capturing, Testing etc. Collaboration with all relevant stakeholders, coworkers and suppliers to ensure project are delivered OTIF. Anticipate any potential project risks, identifying and establishing corrective actions. Ensure adherence to all statutory regulations relating to project design and implementation. Compile manufacturing drawings, BOMs and parts list as required by projects. Record and document applicable project requirements including technical specs, manuals, SOP, work instructions etc. Review and track project expenses in line with project budget. Ensure effective change control when introducing new technologies, methods, processes or equipment to the company. Provide support to the Maintenance team in machine breakdowns and root cause analysis. Provide support to the quality team on customer complaints and implementation of preventative action plans. Identify value-engineering opportunities to optimise current process capability. Provide support to the rest of the team on design and related issues. Identify and Mitigate potential product and OHS risks. 50% Designing&Problem Solving / 50% Project Management Desired Experience&Qualification Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong Mechanical Design and CAD skills Ability to source and interact with suppliers Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree Mechatronics / Mechanical or related engineering discipline required. 5 years of practical experience at least 3 years of experience in project management, engineering, systems design, or other related field Proven track record of delivering projects OTIF in line with professional project management principles Experience of Mechanical Design in a production environment.
