Business Intelligence Data Analyst / Data Scientist Job Openings Business Intelligence Data Analyst / Data Scientist About the job Business Intelligence Data Analyst / Data Scientist Our client, a prominent BPO based at Airport Industria, Cape Townis recruiting for a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst / Data Scientist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing data retrieval and analysis within the organization and all subsidiaries. The successful incumbent will beresponsible for organizing data and data flow, communicating between senior management and the IT department and analyzing data to determine the company or business unit needs. Key Responsibilities: Gather business intelligence from a variety of sources including company data, public information, or purchased sources. Write data collection and processing procedures (in SQL) Ensure that data is being correctly gathered, stored, and reported Report on performances of key metrics of various divisions to management. Develop methodologies to improve data analysis. Develop and implement predictive models Increase the profitability of the business units for which predictive models and BI reports are written Make the business units for which predictive models and BI reports are written more efficient Identify markets for future campaigns and methods to improve sales of existing products Compile business intelligence or trends to support actionable recommendations. Maintain current knowledge of industry and business trends through communication with professional organizations, suppliers, customers, competitors, and other informed individuals. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of data analysis and data visualization tools such as SQL, R, Python, and Tableau. Experience in developing and implementing predictive models. Strong communication and presentation skills.
