In this critical role, you will be responsible for the design, installation, and optimization of complex power generation, transmission, and distribution systems. Your expertise will play a pivotal part in ensuring the reliable, efficient, and sustainable operation of the energy infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Develop comprehensive requirements, investigations, and technical data to inform design decisions and trade-off studies.Lead and manage complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to performance management baselines (scope, schedule, cost, resources, and quality).Verify that contractor designs and installations comply with organizational and statutory requirements.Ensure site power operations meet the organization's technical and quality standards.Monitor power quality received from the utility to verify compliance with the Electricity Supply Agreement.Contribute to the graduate training program and provide mentorship to junior engineers and site personnel.Educational Qualifications:B.Tech in Electrical Engineering plus 10+ years of relevant experience.B.Eng in Electrical Engineering plus 9+ years of relevant experience.M.Eng in Electrical Engineering plus 7+ years of relevant experience.Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering plus 5+ years of relevant experience.Experience:Preferably from a consulting engineering background.Extensive experience in managing multi-disciplinary projects from conceptual stage through construction close-out.Proven track record of holding positions of responsibility and accountability for project designs and delivery.Comprehensive understanding of the complete project lifecycle, from inception to close-out.Experience in the operations and maintenance of electricity distribution systems.Knowledge:In-depth knowledge of power generation and distribution system design and operation.Proficient in project management processes and system engineering best practices.Working knowledge of built environment contracts, especially NEC.Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.Extensive technical expertise related to radio astronomy infrastructure projects.Additional Notes:Demonstrated problem-solving skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.Capacity to handle multiple tasks and work in remote locations when required.Self-motivated with a strong aptitude for self-training and upskilling.#J-18808-Ljbffr
