Job Description Role overview A senior management opportunity exists in the Legacy and Product Management team within OMiX Savings&Income for someone who is passionate about managing a diverse set of retail solutions that aim to meet customer expectations, Old Mutual’s business objectives and comply with the ever-changing regulatory environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coaching a small team of actuarial students and professionals who are responsible for delivering on ongoing product management and the delivery of strategically significant projects for this set of products. Key Result Areas Understanding the changing regulatory environment, customer needs and market dynamics, and applying this to the ongoing product management of a diverse set of savings and income retail products. Providing strategic input and product support to Old Mutual’s business segments and working closely with our business unit partners (IT, Servicing, Finance, Legal, distribution channels etc) to deliver on customer promises and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance and adherence to good market conduct principles. Management functions include strategy, segment stakeholder engagement (including representing the area in various forums), product enhancements or rationalisation, migration strategy and support, product support and improving customer value. Articulating product requirements to our IT partners and ensuring the accuracy of the resulting output. Managing and mentoring a small team of high-performing professionals and building a high-performance team culture. In this role, there is a strong focus on both savings and income products across both our mass market and middle-income market segments.
