CAPE TOWNSALES – SALES DEVELOPMENTFREELANCEStrive is searching for talented and dynamic Business Development Consultants (BDs) located in theCape Town, South Africa area to support our Sales Acquisition on a 3-month contract basis with theintention to extend. The responsibilities of a BD will include researching, prospecting, qualifyingleads and closing sales opportunities. Our BD will be contacting potential prospects through coldcalling and emails using Strive’s CRM list from leads provided by our Marketing team.Our BDs are responsible for contacting leads, communicating Strive’s value proposition, andscheduling demos. You will serve a key role in helping the company grow! The ideal candidate will beextremely organized, have a positive, customer service-oriented attitude, and the drive to takeownership of their role. You will be responsible for building rapport with leads and effectivelymanaging your pipeline.If you are looking for a role that sees you remunerated in a manner commensurate with your valuecontribution to the business then this is the role for you.ResponsibilitiesOutbound calling and emailing to identify, nurture, and transform marketing-qualified leadsinto sales-ready leads“Pitching” potential clients on the value of a product demoSuccessfully overcoming prospective customer objectionsTracking lead activity in Strive’s CRMUse of video recording software to make interactive videos to personalize outreach withprospective partnersAnalyzing and reporting on the success of efforts to turn marketing-qualified leads intoopportunitiesMaintaining accurate and up-to-date records of potential clients for effective follow-upsScheduling and partaking in callbacks to assess and understand the potential client’sneeds/desires, discuss marketing automation and educate them on StriveConsulting with and updating team supervisor on progress and action plansAttending team meetings aimed at growth, understanding, and collaborationStrategy planning, both individually and as a teamPersonSAAS selling experience preferredMinimum of two years sales experience preferredDemonstrated sales aptitude; assertive, persistent, good listener, self-motivated and coachableHigh comfort level communicating on the phoneExcellent oral and written communication skillsWell organized and flexible with effective time-management skillsGoal-oriented, able to meet and exceed monthly goalsKnowledge of CRM or marketing automation software preferredSelf-confident with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environmentAble to work independently as well as on a teamBachelor’s in business administration, marketing, or related field preferredAbility to be a brand ambassador for Strive: Be inspiring, ambitious and fun!Who We AreStrive is a Cape Town based, marketing services business with a cloud-based automation technology platform for marketing agencies and mid-sized businesses that beats top competitors with its features, functionalities, and performance.
