Education Grade 12 N4 Financial Management Certificate. Alternatively Diploma in Financial/Cost Accounting Experience: 2-3 years’ financial experience. INTERPERSONAL SKILLS/VALUES Good communications skills (verbal/non-verbal). Effective decision maker and results oriented. Critical Thinking and Problem solving ability. Conflict handling and resolution skills. Ability to work in a high pressure environment. COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS ERP system and IT (SAP knowledge would be an advantage). Financial Knowledge. Microsoft Office. MAIN DUTIES&RESPONSIBILITIES Perform routine calculations to produce analysis and reports as requested. Create, Send, and follow up on invoices. (Creditors, Debtors, Sales Functions). Reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified. Adhere to company’s financial policies and procedures. Opening of clients’ accounts with third parties. Assisting procurement (purchase orders, sorting GRN’s). Reconciling of general ledger accounts. Timeous preparation of monthly journal. SARS communication, filling VAT/EMP returns. Payment on ERP system and directly on Bank platform. Cash flow forecasts together with investments. Cost saving imitative. Analysis and Projects. Assets (Depreciating additions and disposals). Plan Organize and manage own workload to ensure contribution to company’s monthly financial reporting is achieved in a timeously and accurate manner. Assist with Reporting. Foreign transactions/ Payments together with Imports/ Exports/Customs. Assist colleagues on daily tasks. Assist with yearend and preparation and procedures. Advanced Payment knowledge.
