RPO Recruitment's client, in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse&Distribution Manager to join their team in Gauteng. As the Warehouse&Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the warehouse and distribution operations within the company. Responsibilities: Develop and implement warehouse and distribution strategies and plans to meet company objectives Manage and optimize warehouse space, ensuring efficient and effective storage and retrieval of products Oversee inventory management, including accurate stock counts, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring proper rotation of stock Coordinate and plan distribution activities, including order picking, packing, and delivery Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards in all warehouse and distribution activities Lead and motivate a team of warehouse and distribution staff, providing training and guidance as needed Collaborate with other departments, such as production and procurement, to ensure smooth and timely flow of products Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes Requirements Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse and distribution management in the food manufacturing industry Strong knowledge of food safety and quality standards Proven ability to manage and develop a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Proficient in using warehouse management systems Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices Experience with lean or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus Benefits Salary: negotiable RPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
