Qualifications The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing components to meet customized pump specifications, modifying existing designs, and providing technical guidance to machine shops, fabricators, and fitters to ensure proper implementation of designs through to installation. The role also involves troubleshooting and offering technical support to ensure smooth production and assembly processes. Qualifications&Experience: Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Registered as a Professional Engineer. Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical design, particularly in pump components. Strong knowledge of pump applications, mechanical and hydraulic loadings. Expertise in material strengths, fits, and tolerances. Hands-on experience in designing and fabricating pump components. Proficiency in CAD software, specifically Autodesk Inventor, and experience with Vault. Knowledge of metallurgy and materials selection.
