We don’t believe in the ‘one size fits all’ approach and instead we will equip you with the tools you need to shape your own future.JOB PURPOSEUnilever is the place where you can bring your purpose to life with the work that you do – creating a better business and a better world.  If you are Responsible for electrical maintenance, diagnosis, and fault repairs on production equipment as well as to perform authorized modifications. then this role is just for you.WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BEAttend to and maintain plant production equipment.Proactively ensure that preventative planned maintenance is performed in a cost-effective way to ensure minimum downtime and product losses.Maintenance of electrical equipment on production lines and high-speed packaging linesMaintenance of electrical systems and componentsFault finding and repair of electrical equipment.Handle breakdowns effectively and timeously.Execute breakdown elimination using the SHOPWARE system as a tool.Do daily inspection schedules on equipment.Come up with Kaizens for to improve the equipment reliability.Support the PM team to reduce the MTTR and increase the MTBF.Active involvement on Machine Safety programProper interpretation of electrical schematic diagrams and their altering when necessaryKnowledge of pneumatic systemsKnowledge of the profinetVariable Speed DrivesWHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BEExperiences & QualificationsN6 Certification in Electrical EngineeringCompleted Electrical Trade Test with 3 years post qualified experienceSiemens PLC S300, S400 and S1500Allen Bradley PLC understandingPLC and relay control circuit faultfindingElectrical faultfinding on e.g. motors, conveyors, DBs etcFMCG environment preferably packaging equipment exposureWorking knowledge of photo electric and proximity switches is essential.Basic understanding of the WCM and PM as a pillarKnowledge of bar-code applicators, scanners and printersMust be willing to work shifts, additionally some weekend work is required.SkillsVariable Speed DrivesBasic computer literacy.They MUST have a sense of creativity and be innovativeAbility to solve problemsThe ability to work independently as well as part of a teamUnilever is an organisation committed to equity, inclusion and diversity to drive our business results and create a better future, every day, for our diverse employees, global consumers, partners, and communities.
