We currently have 4 offices in South Africa and a number of offices in Africa. We are looking for an experienced person to join our accounts team. Duties&Responsibilities The Financial Controller would be in responsible for the following: Hands on approach to all functions relating to the accounts department for African offices Ensuring clients receive their invoices and statements at the required times Managing the debtors and ensuring the company always recovers it money for the services it has provided Petty cash management for all African offices Ensuring the accounting system is always up to date and accurate Reporting to senior managment on a global level SARS submissions for PAYE/VAT Bank reconcilliation Management of Bargaining Council (for the Road Freight and Logistics Industry) returns would be beneficial Billing of major clients Desired Experience&Qualification Matric SAICA registred Complete understanding of PAYE, UIF, VAT, Tax regulations and other statutory requirements Minimum of 3 years experience in bookkeeping or financial management with a company Experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry will be beneficial but not essential Strong relationship builder which will be benificial when dealing with debtors and creditors Experience with Xero accounting system will be beneficial but not essential Experience in dealing with other African countries will be beneficial but not essential Package&Remuneration R 20 000 - R40 000 depending on experience Interested?
